I've been in your shoes…
While working for a Fortune 50 company, I sat in on the selection committee of searching and choosing keynote speakers for our events. You know how it goes, Google “keynote speaker,” see the top few, watch some videos. Make a yay or nay decision. Look at their pricing. Then move onto the next.
I’d narrow down to my top 3 to present to the group. But I’ll never forget the time we hired a dud…
We did all of our due diligence and watched all of this speaker’s promo videos and his testimonials. But when it came to show time, he was frustrated with the stage lighting. Then took a group break 10 minutes into this talk. TEN MINUTES. Only to come back and finish the rest of the talk flat. Customers came to us complaining and rolling their eyes. I couldn’t bring myself to read all the feedback forms after glancing over the first few negative ones. What’s worse, he was the opening keynote, so it set a negative tone for the entire day. And I’ll tell you this, we had a tough time filling next year’s event.
That’s when I learned the importance of making sure my message resonates with the group and leaves the group excited to go back to their practices.
My name is Nick Sideris. And I’m a social media marketer for medical practices keynote speaker.
Growing up in a rural Iowa, I learned the importance of hard work. At age 20, I started in the insurance industry. I’ve since gone from door-to-door insurance salesman (yes, literally) to sought after medical marketing expert over the course of the last 12 years.
Hating selling insurance and often being chained to a cubicle, I self-studied digital marketing and picked up a handful of medical practices as clients. Having some success in marketing refractive surgery from my basement in my pjs, I knew I needed the real world experience of what life was like inside medical practices.
I took on marketing and consulting roles for large medical companies. I’ve flown 426,587 miles in 5 years to shadow, train, and consult for some of the world’s busiest medical practices.
I want to bring what’s worked in social media for medical practices to your audience so they can go back to their practice and see success.
I’m based in Des Moines, Iowa and thrilled to travel to your next event.
